Night Owl operates trips out of Ryde Harbour within a radius of about 6 miles. It is not a high speed boat and all trips are at a leisurely pace. Although operating all the year round, trips will be governed by the tides and weather. Ryde is a drying harbour, which means when the tide is out the boat sits ion the bottom. Night Owl can only operate over a 5 hour period at high tide. Of course if you want to have a long trip and leave on one high tide and return on the next one I can do this.

There are no set destinations, and where you go is entirely up to you, but I have included some suggestions on this page.

WOOTTON CREEK Wootton Creek has a very ancient history - it has been used as a waterway and port for thousands of years. The Romans landed cargo here. King Canute is said to have come ashore here and the monks from nearby Quarr Abbey who owned the mill, had a fishery at the creek mouth. This trip lasts 90 minutes.
