It may also need the appropriate media player plug - please go to the Firefox site and download the required plugins.
Make sure the media player you use has an MP3 codec - most computers will have one as standard now.
Make sure you allow popups from this site if you want to use Radio Popups.
Check the streaming server status to see if all 20 user slots are in use and the stream is online.

This is information about the streaming audio on this site. You can only listen if you have authorisation. It must not be used for operational purposes.
All computer configurations seem to be different and not all options may work with your machine - choose the one which works for you. There are two ways of listening to the radio. The easiest way is to use the Radio popup. Make sure you enable popups from this site. Several popups are available for use with Windows Media Player, Real Player and Flash. As an alternative you can listen on the full player. To listen to both streams simultaneously the easiest way is to use the Flash ‘both’ popup. If that does not work for you try opening up two of the other popups or media players together. Some browsers may not be able to do this using the same type of player and you may have to use different types players for for each stream. The CH11+12 stream is in stereo with CH12 on the left and CH11 on the right. If you want to separate these you must use the Media Player popups or use the balance control on your full player. The Scanner stream is in mono. You can leave your popups or media player open while navigating around the site - they will even stay open if you navigate away from the site. I have included some screen shots of the popups.
Don’t for get to turn your volume up and make sure your audio is not muted.
If you are listening at work it may be that your IT department has inhibited audio streaming.
